End of the Year Re- and E- Cycling?

So I'm here in Oregon and need to get rid of a lot of crap I built up over the years. Shoes, monitors, computer stuff, appliances, etc.

Where are some good resources? I might drop some old monitors at www.freegeek.org which some poster here works with?

Any other good leads? Good shoe dumping place? Doesn't Nike do something?
