The Iowa Energy took down the Tulsa at home on Sunday evening, defeating the 66ers 123-93.
Tulsa was led by Reggie Williams, who finished with 26 points and 8 boards. First overall pick Grant Jerrett added 25 points. Mario Little ended the game with 12 points.
The Iowa Energy had seven players in double figures. Chris Allen came off the bench and led the team with 22 points. Newly acquired Larry Owens and Moses Ehambe both had 18 points. Othyus Jeffers continued his hot streak, finishing with 16 points and 14 boards.
Tulsa falls to 1-11 on the year, while the Energy improve to 7-3.
The Energy will play at Sioux Falls on Christmas Day, and then return to Wells Fargo Arena for a pair of games against the Maine Red Claws on December 27th and 28th. Friday's game will be a winter hat giveaway sponsored by MidAmerican Energy. Saturday's game will be a dance team poster giveaway and $2 beers.
