Errol Brown, the lead singer of the pop-soul band Hot Chocolate and the writer of“You Sexy Thing,”a dance-floor anthem from 1975 that received a new burst of attention in the 1997 British comedy “The Full Monty,” died May 6 in the Bahamas. He was 71.
The cause was liver cancer, said his manager Phil Dale.
