Utah and Atlanta have 6 players in the top 100, Portland has 5, and 13 teams have 4.

notice that Norm Powell is ranked 100. Then, look at the players ahead of him (RoCo 89; Nurkic 74)
Looks like Nance didn't make it, he just sneaked into SI top 100 list.
Still pretty impressive the Blazers have 5 players in the top 100. I wonder how many teams have all of their starters on the list, I wouldn't think many.
Theoretically, you could have up to 20 teams.
Without going through the list, I'd guess there are 7-8 teams that have have 5-guys in the top 100.
That would mean 10 teams have 0 players..... How many teams don't have two top 100 players.... I wouldn't think more than a couple teams.
I searched through the list.
All the lottery teams except the Thunder and maybe the Magic have multiple players in the top 100.
So I think it will be very rare to have 5 starters in the top 100.
I don't think it means much of anything to have 5 players in the top-100. In the NBA what matters is if you have 2-3 players in the top-20 or so
Alright! Who's gonna be the NERD and figure out how many other teams have all five starters in the top 100 and which teams they are?
Then of course someone has to find this out for the Lakers at the very least?
Last year Milwaukee didn't have a second top20 guy, nor Toronto a few years prior. Phoenix last year might not have had any top 20 player, but did have 5 quality starters. The Blazers have Dame who is pretty dang high.
Years ago teams like the Detroit Pistons won a title without multiple or possibly even any top 20 guy but with a very strong 5th starter. The 2011 Mavs only had Dirk and probably not five players in the top100 but were deep up to 8 good men. So teams can win a title without multiple superstars and with a variety of roster constructions.
Now I agree ideally it would be best to get another top20 player... but of course that is much easier said than done.
