Reader's note: our boy Ethan Sherwood Strauss gets a vote on these. FWIW.

1. What was the highlight of the first week?

J.A. Adande, ESPN.com: Robin Lopez's throwdown on Andrew Bogut. It's not that the dunk was so extraordinary, it's that Lopez cited it as the proper usage of the term "steamrolling" in his Twitter critique of USA Today Sports (which he called an "otherwise fine periodical").

2. Which team has been the most pleasant surprise?
Sac got 2 votes, as did Miami. MEM with 1.

3. Which team has been the most disappointing?
OKC (x2), MIA, MIN and CHA

4. Which player has impressed you the most?
Klay Thompson (x3), Chris Bosh, Anthony Davis

5. What storyline stands out to you after Week 1?
Poor L*kers, Poor Thunder, Top of the Western Conference jumble.

For disappointing teams I have Lakers(x2) CHA, OKC, CLE

you may know him as the guy who said Dame shouldn't be RoY.

Wasnt that J.A Adange and I dont recall him saying Lillard shouldnt win RoY but talking about an article that basically said Lillard isn't as good as Davis per36 so why all the hype.

It was Ethan. And then Ethan did a cover of some tanking articles.
My memory is going out the window. What a terrible article I remember it now. J.A Adange isnt even the guy im remembering, its the bald guy with glasses who talked about the article on the 5m skype conversation with Thorpe he used to have on ESPNs front page.
Ethan is also a HUGE Warriors homer, he comes on the Eye on Basketball podcast once every few weeks or so. He seems to be all about advanced stats when.
