The Hornets have reached out to Monty Williams for their head coaching vacancy. I can't say I'm surprised.
1. Link?
2. Define "reached out".
3. Is he the only one they've copped a feel of?
I just got home to watch the NFL draft. I have ESPN on and they reported Doug Collins was approached about the Hornets job. They then listed the other people they've asked permission to speak with. Lo and behold, Monty Williams was one of the names.

They're checking everyone. My cousin just got a call and I told her to play coy.
Dude, the draft coverage is a friggin hour away!
Slacker.![]()
its on right now
your welcome. Thanks for the heads-up. I just noticed that ESPN's coverage began at 4. I just switched over to The NFL Network.
If you're an assistant in the NBA and you get an offer to take a head coaching job, you'd be stupid to turn it down.I really think highly of Monty. Hope we can do something to keep him.

Well Monty is a big time family man. He is all about his kids. He might not want to raise his kids down in NOLA. But who knows, maybe the draw of being the HEAD coach far outweighs that!
