Now that ESPN’s experts have finished their predictions on team performance, they have moved to individual success–and failure, naming their choices for MVP, Rookie of the Year … and best and worst newcomers–players joining new teams. No Nets were voted among the best, but Yi Jianlian got votes for “worst newcomer”, calling his rookie season ”underwhelming” and Olympic tournament “weak”.

ESPN experts obviously didn't understand the structure of the CNT and the role of Yi. Either that or they didn't see Yao.

Yi is popular. He's always on the front page of NBA news. These bad predictions only prove that Yi has a firm grasp of fan's consciousness.

These predictions itself are baseless. Proof is that Ron Artest is voted both the best and the worst newcomer. Doesn't even make sense.
