hah, I remember in "religion" class in high school we watched the whole trilogy. i think the teacher just wanted to nerd out and then related it to Jesus somehow.

the sound is too much of a headache.

I told a friend once that Led Zeppelin was my favorite band when I was a kid. He laughed which surprised me, because I was sure he liked them too. I respect his musical opinion greatly as he is an outstanding guitarist. He said "of course I like them, they are one of the most influential bands in the history of rock n roll and I think they are great, but it's just that I've heard enough of them now that I never need to hear them ever again.

I'm done with Star Wars.

You're done with the new ones that are planned by Disney?

Glad star wars was brought up.

What if Disney decides to remake the first 6 episodes of star wars, so they work better with the final 3? How would you feel about that?

Lucas lost me when he rolled out the Ewoks.

Star Wars jumped the shark right there.

Disney isn't stupid. They understand how fiercely loyal Star Wars fans are. Why remake the old ones when there's hundreds of possibilities for new movies and spin offs that could make tons of cash?

The new Star Trek was very successful. I don't see why the nerds wouldn't embrace a new Star Wars; as long as a good director kept it on story.

I fell in love with Prometheus and I am a huge Predator and aliens fan. It could work.

Those aren't remakes though. Those are similar to what 3 new Star Wars movies would be like.

Only three Star Wars movies there are. An abomination, Jar-Jar Binks is. Horsewhipped, George Lucas should be.
