You're assuming that the deity is bound by the laws of this dimension. If such a deity is omnipresent and outside of time constraints, then clearly said deity would be other-dimensional.

Guess he missed the memo that theists actually believe in the supernatural. :P

LOL! You do realize that someone that believes in a deity believes that anything is possible right?
You are the one that believes there is none; therefor you are bound by the laws of science. Because you do not believe in the supernatural.
That was too easy. NEXT...

For starters I'm not an aetheist, I'm agnostic. I definitely believe anything is possible.

Second, you're statement in bold is not true. A large percentage of those who are religious do not have open minds about this (go take a poll in the middle east). That is a fact, and to say otherwise just undelines you're stupidity.

Third, you said:

Yet scientifically; even a "law of science" makes it perfectly clear that mass and energy cannot come into existence from nothing. And if that's true; then how can the universe be created unless a deity put it there?

That doesn't sound like one who believes anything is possible.. You clearly didn't comprehend my previous posts. I unfortunately can't make you smarter, I can only show everyone else how flawed your argument is.

Wow, I just read on a bit more in this thread and the 'Evidence that God exists' thread and realized just how dumb and dense magnifier is. I might as well argue with my testicles.

Actually not true, but if you say so.

Only person here that looks stupid is you. Anything is possible? Um even ask the muslims that they know with the power of God, they can overcome even the strongest countries. Hilarious that you are arguing this.

You clearly didn't comprehend my OT. And you clearly don't know how to debate. When I make "QUESTIONS" they are talking like someone that is unbiased to the subject.

It's pretty obvious that the only person that sounds dumb is the one that said I created a thread "Evidence that God exists"; when it's titled "Evidence that "Atheism" is not a sound belief." OMG!!! :MARIS61: Back to the drawing board you go.

Actually not true, but if you say so.

haha... You're actually going to tell me what I believe now?

You've gotta just be messing around, you can't possibly write the posts you have and think you're winning.

Please PM me and let me know if this is all an act. I won't tell.

Why not, you are telling me what I believe. If you think an agnostic believes in the supernatural; then you may want to look up what a "true agnostic" believes in.

Winning? Who said I want to win? I'm making a statement and opinion; then the readers of the thread can make their own opinion. Do you think you are winning? Is this what it's all about?

... I did?

If you think an agnostic believes in the supernatural; then you may want to look up what a "true agnostic" believes in.

A) I thought we were talking about me, not all "true agnostic"s, whatever that means.

B) Defintion from wiki - Agnosticism is the view that the truth value of certain claims—especially claims about the existence or non-existence of any deity, but also other religious and metaphysical claims—is unknown or unknowable

I freely admit I don't know shit. That's why I'm open to the possibility of supernatural.

The more I read and study up on this, the more I LOL at the religion of atheism. Within 50 years, atheism is going to be dead with the direction science is headed in. Believe it or not it was much easier to be an atheist 50 years ago based on what we knew then compared to what we know now, so another 50 years should be about all it takes before all the rest start catching on.

you're like a caricature of a creationist, spouting nonstop talking points and phrases like you're incapable of thinking for yourself.

... I did?

Yes you did....

Cool so you agree that there can be a deity? Now we are on to something.

I don't know what you're even talking about. And yeah I can think for myself, thank God. It has driven me to look for the facts that have solidified my already skeptical views of naturalistic claims, and how they lead to dead ends in so many different areas. I think if anyone here can't think for themselves it's you.

everyone here already knows what you believe. if you think there are facts that support your belief you should just post those rather than inflammatory rhetoric.

what naturalistic claims are you talking about that aren't straw men? scientistis don't claim to know how life or the universe started, and common descent only refutes a literal interpretation of genesis, not theism. tons of theists believe in evolution.

in fact your implication that atheism and naturalism are the same thing is in itself a straw man.

Yes you did....

What part of 'large percentage' sounded like magnifier661?

so you agree that there can be a deity? Now we are on to something.

Of course I agree there could be a deity. Can you agree there might not be? Because reading your posts I get the impression you can't. If you can, then high five and we part as friends.

When you generalize a belief; that includes the people believing.

Awesome I'm glad you agree there is a deity. Now we can move on. :D

I'm arguing with a rock.

I'll take that to mean you can't, thus proving you aren't open minded and don't believe that anything is possible... Glad that's settled. Yes I will move on.

Oh I'm open minded about the possibility of no God. What reasons do you have to make me not believe there is one?

LOL @ your arguing with a rock move. Um, you started with the personal attacks; then you back-peddle about not telling me what I believe in. Seems you are the close minded poster in this thread.
