Might not be a bad option instead of league pass, esp considering the $ involved vs use.

One negative I saw is I don't believe they had ESPN or tnt available.

May have to keep two streaming devices handy. This may allow me to finally kick Comcast to the curb

I'm not good with these discussions. My family and myself just don't watch LIVE tv. So these services have to have some sort of a way to record and watch later or it just isn't in play for us. I just haven't been able to find anything better than my DirecTV DVR to be honest.

For me the best option is Comcast. I can watch live or record. I can get pretty much any streaming service (3rd party) known to mankind.
It’s all in one bill. Yeah I spend about 15 bucks on rental equipment that I could use my own equipment on. I never have a question if I can watch a game.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on this system yet? I'll get it to add to our YouTube TV subscription that the family loves too much to get rid of. At $30ish a month it's cheaper than going to a game.

I want to wait as long as possible before signing on the dotted line. Does anyone know how long it takes to get it in your hands after signing up?

Any thoughts on the best antenna to use with it or are they all pretty much the same?

only one regular game this season won't be on Root, and that's the TNT game on Nov 29 vs the Clips.

For $30/month, this is not a bad option to watch just the blazers if that's your thing. would need to add Sling or something for the playoffs tho.

I'm going to get it to add it to my Hulu.

Do I have to have an ugly ass antenna sticking out the side of my tv?

Only for the basic channels which I watch on Hulu anyway so that won't bother me.

At least EJ’s Neat-o-Stat of the night can be viewed later online.

Considering your job it'd almost be sacreligious for you to watch anything live.

;)

I just signed up for it. They have a current 10 dollar discount for Portlanders (so it's 20 bucks a month total) for the first 3 months.

Even at 30 bucks (25 + 5 rental) it's a better deal, imho, than finagling my way through a VPN to watch league pass.

Cool. Does Portland include the Vancouver area I wonder.

I just did a search using an address of a Vancouver Business, and it said yes.

it also seems to work (the discount) as I put in the address for the Bend chamber of commerce address, and the promo was still offered.

The streaming channels are available in Monmouth so I signed up. Root and some other channels I'll never watch,
but its better than paying twice that for Spectrum. 5-7 days for delivery due to high demand (and USPS probably).

Where is Monmouth?
