I just finished one today, and have another one tommorow morning.

I love high school exams, you can cram all you want on the last day (I'm only studying tonight) and still do well.

I have a 90 right now in the class that I'm about to do an exam on, so I NEED to get a 90+ on the exam, I really wanna boost up my mark even more.

I'm not a big fan of tests. But I have this huge Regents, which are state wide exams only in NY. I need to pass it to graduate and I have been goofing off, especially last night. I put down my books and started posting

Anyway, I get distracted real easily.

Me too. I have math regents tomorrow and guess what I'm doing.....not studying.

I had 2 of my finals today so I got off early. Tomorrow and Friday are gonna be the same too.

Yeah I get distracted way too easily. MSN, Facebook, and sometimes this board is what I usually get distracted with. I also use "eating" as an excuse to go talk on msn and not study.

Same, man. I had a stolen copy of the course exam from last year on my computer (scanned), so I spent most of my time yesterday infront of my desk. I ended up though spending most of it on MSN, talking on the phone and Facbeook. I finally decided to go on my bed at like 10 and study for the rest of the night and 10 minutes into my studying I got a text from someone which lead to me playing pacman on my phone for like 15 minutes and listening to random ringtones I just created.

I also use eating as an excuse. I literally had like 6 meals yesterday plus a bunch of snacks inbetween. Stupid meds make you mad hungry.

Anyways, my exam was a b*tch today (my hardest course) I probably will end up not submitting the mark anyways. I have a World Issues exam tommorow, but that should be a breeze.

I'm scared about my teachers marking my exam though because I'm currently suspended for breaking and entering into the school after school hours. The teachers had a meeting about that, and according to one teacher (he's cool [brown], head of the SAC, hates our VP's...he's like a student) they had a meeting about us (my friends and I) and they are al apparently ticked.

I had an english regents 2day which I think I did alright on. i think i mightve done bad on the critical lens though. finally no'mo regents until summer.

Why did you do that?

Long story. Seemed like an amazing idea at the time but a janitor noticed us and we dipped, but one of my boys went in another direction and another janitor hit him wit ice and booked him. Cops came and they scared the ish out of him and he ratted our names. He had to rat one of my friends out for his own good because of some stolen s*it they found in his car, but really he didn't have to snitch me and my two other boys out. We had our face covered with hoodies so the cams couldn't identify us.

I still haven't started studying for my exam tommorow...I just woke up from napping. I'm screwed.

Jack Bauer wouldn't have gotten caught...

I just realized 2 or so hours ago (when I was about to start studying) that I forgot my textbook at school. I have an exam at 10 in the morning tommorow. So, my plan is to study all night tonight with just my notes, as well as wikipedia (
happysad.gif
) and reach school tommorow morning at 7, get my textbook and meet up with a couple of friends from my class who are gonna be there and study with them till the exam starts. Third all-nighter night in a row...I fuckin hate exam-time.

However, while this all sounds nerdy and workhalic as you're reading, you should know that I tend to waver off in my thoughts and get distracted too easily. I waste time every 10 minutes, as you can clearly see from me typing out this post rather than spending it usefully studying.

So that means you didn't sleep on Tuesday Night, or Monday Night, and soon to be Wednesday Night.

So you last slept Sunday Night. By Thursday Night that will be (Sunday 10 am to Thursday 10 pm) 108 hours without sleep. I would expect you to be falling in and out of sleep every 3 minutes soon (where you blip in and out of sleep). Or at least that was my experience after a triple all-nighter. As well, your body probably feels cooler than it usually does especially at like 3 am?

Maybe I'm too sleep dependent lol, and you aren't feeling it yet.

I'd recommend getting like 3 hours tonight just to let your body & brain refresh a little. When I did it, I wasn't studying very efficiently and the ratio of 3 hours of sleep + 6 hours of study would be better than 9 hours of study imo. The question for me would be, could I wake up after only 3 hours of sleep, and the answer would be "no". lol

Anyway, I'd wish you the best. I hope you don't have an exam on Friday. (I'm guessing you don't).

Triple all-nighter, geez. I've only done a double (last December) and I sleep-walked to my bus stop.

Yea, I've only done 1 triple all-nighter from what I remember and it was unbearable. I've had a few double nighters and they were pretty bad as well.

lol, great dissection of my post.

Actually, yeah, the last time I slept 6+ hours was Sunday night. Monday night I slept for like 4 hours, and yesterday night I slept for 2. Tonight I'll probably sleep for one. Sorry if I said "all-nighter", it feels close enough because I've been on like automatic-mode since this week began. Tonight though, I don't really plan on sleeping, and had coffee (which I hate) to keep me awake. If I fall asleep, I'm screwed, so I'll sleep an hour if I finish cramming on time, which I won't because I left the damn textbook at school.

And no, I don't have an exam on Friday, thank god.

I was trying to study before I came on, and I was resting my head against a pillow and fell asleep reading for five minutes and woke myself up to take a break. A five minute break has turned into almost half an hour lol.

On the whole, I have horrible sleep patterns. I sleep at like 2 and wake up at 7 on regular school nights, so I'm screwed for next semester because I have a class that starts at 8 in the morning (while normal classes start at 9).

Anyway, I'll probably come back here in 2 hours or so.

Keep up the good work! (maybe it has been interspersed between breaks, but nonetheless! Keep it up!
smile.gif
) If you focus now and just keep plugging away, it'll make a difference, and you'll have a great feeling tonight as exams are done and don't have to go through that for another 4 months or whatever.

Well, I have a math exam at 9:00, and after that I'm done for the semester. The second I get home from this exam, I'm heading right for bed. I'm so tired.

I slept for 20 minutes last night, but had some next dream and woke up frantically lol.

So I basically didn't sleep at all. The exam wasn't bad, I actually made it to school at 7 in the morning and studied with my friends till the exam started.

Now I just have a presentation left on Monday as a summative and I'm done.

And you're in high school?! Wow dude you're hardcore.

Man, that's nothing. Honestly, some of my friends are science students (our school's science department is known to be really challenging in the senior grades) and most of them haven't slept properly in around 2 weeks. One of my friends has slept like only 1-2 hours for this entire week cause he was studying for his exams, finishing summatives, etc.

I took Bio and Chem last year, and it was HECTIC in grade 11, so I can't imagine in grade 12.

But on the real,, I'm serious about my studies. And the only reason I seem "hardcore" is because I waited until the LASTTT minute to start studying. That's more of a dumbass move then anything else, because I brought the burden on myself.

Just finished my last exam today, we get our grades tomorrow...probably the worst day of the year.

May I ask, what exams are you guys taking? Finals for semester or what?
I took my final exams like in mid-december. And now I have to take a Taks Test in a month for which I must pass to go to 10th grade. And then some more finals at the end of the semester in May, right now we dont have any exams.

Had my last exam today, and now I'm getting f*cking trashed tonight. I think I deserve it.

<div class="quote_poster">P.A.P. Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Wow they mark your exams quick.</div>

Well all this week we get in around 8:00 and leave at like 10:30. So you figure each teacher has from 10:30-4:00 (or whenever they leave), to grade them.
