Despite Harold Reynolds making every excuse possible for the Tigers the Yankees were able to put an L on Verlanders 2014 resume. I was hoping the Yankees could get two, if they put it to Porcello today they might just take the series. I thought the Yankees could get to Verlander but the real shocker for me was Capuano, Also got a shocker out of Huff finishing up. This series reminds me of early '06 when Torre took a Yankee Team missing pieces into Detroit and took 3/4. Yankee pitching depleted as it is pitched this well against a good Tiger team. Damn nice win.

After they took game one, I predicted that they would take 3 of 4, I hope I'm right.
