"Faces of Marijuana" Billboard pulled down in Portland

Have you been to Pioneer Square, Capitol Hill, or Pike Place Market lately? People are literally smoking pot on the sidewalk, and the cops there have more important things to worry about than what amounts to an MIP to kids or a ticket to some homeless person.

Good news. Have you discovered a new bandwagon to join, after your years of police advocacy posts?

Because you're a paranoid old man? I watch soccer, even Euro soccer. That should be enough to convince anyone that I've smoked a fair share of buds in my life.

You???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!

Yeah right! Don't make me choke!

ok, so then it being legal there isn't at issue with it being blown in someone's face, if it's also happening in Pioneer Square.

I'm guessing he means Pioneer Square in Seattle. But, I don't think it has to do with it being legal up there. People smoke on the streets here in San Diego without even trying to try and hide it. And back when I was at UW, the U-District always had smokers. Back then I didn't spend much time on Cap Hill, but I'm sure it was the same way there as well.

oh, gotcha. Well, happens around Pioneer Square here as well, so just assumed.

I don't care either way. I'm just saying people are smoking pot in the open in downtown Seattle.

EDIT - I didn't realize you thought I meant Portland's Pioneer Square. I meant Seattle.

I only have because my brother lives there, and our wives love to bring our Posse on Broadway for shopping and crap.

I just said that cause I spent a lot more time wandering around Seattle back then. If we end up moving back there, Capitol Hill is probably where we'll end up. Great vibe, close to downtown and close to I-5 (even though I don't drive a lot, living in SoCal for a few years has made me appreciate living close to the freeway).
