I've been saying for years and years thanks to "instant replay"- the umpires blow approximately 35%-45% (at least) of all safe/out plays around the bases including tag plays at home plate where they seem to specialize in being OUT OF POSITION to make the call.
The best thing MLB has done in a long time is institute the replay challenge for managers.
