This Jackie Chan action scene from "Police Story" blew my mind when I first saw it. Police Story was Jackie Chan's answer to The Protector, an American action film from 1985 starring JC and Danny Aiello. The director, James Glickenhaus, was supposedly trying to make JC into the new Charles Bronson, which is a total waste of JC's acrobatic and physical comedy talents. JC has some better action scenes than "the mall scene", but this film kicked off a whole new genre of Hong Kong action stunt films.
