Well, for starters, I'm guessing you're pretty young then (13-14 maybe?).
Secondly, he's the dude on the Dream's avatar. Also, he's argueably one of the greatest emcees ever to lace a mic. Although I've only listened to his much later works, his albums with Eric B. set quite a standard for rap. I guess the easiest way for you to learn about him is by Wikipedia-ing his name.

yeah I know I got carried away...lol...Ra is performin in Houston tonight and me and some friends are going to see him (can't wait).....if I had to name one "favorite" song it would Lyrics of Fury....he wrote that song in 88 but it sounds like he wrote it yesterday (especially the 2nd verse)
