buy Micah Richards at the start of your manager mode...$9mil is alright for some one who ends up in the mid 90's by the time he is in his prime...theo walcott is alright but he is 30 mil but he is money well spent also

I bought richards as well in the first season. If you get a good scout onboard they usually find decent people

I play Pro Evo but Messi is always a good buy on it and i assume he's pretty good on Fifa. Expensive though

yea he costs about 50mil i think...Lukas Podolski is good value too...but he does cost a fair bit

i got a good buy for manager mode, he's name is Elton with a accent on his name, a spannish n with the ' over the top of it, he is excellent only 6 million and he is only 23, he scored like 23 a season for me at watford.

I played with Boro of course so I never had enough money to buy people like Ronaldinho and Kaka.

I made some transfers in January.

Sold: Cattermole ($11mil), Huth ($13mil), Morrison ($9mil)
Bought: Gasbarroni (CM, free), Senderos (free), Raul Garcia (RM, $5.1mil)

At the end of the season, Viduka is retiring unfortunately, but I have Nugent still

Mendieta is retiring too, and there's a couple more players who I still want to re-sign as backup.

I had to sell Cattermole, Huth and Morrison because they wouldn't re-sign with me, and I knew they were worth a lot so I sold them now to get money off them. I did have around $19mil, now I've got something like $45mil because I sold them and bought two for free.

So now my starting line-up is:

EDIT: I won the League Cup 4-1 against Tottenham, went 1-0 down, scored from a penalty and then in the last 10 minutes I scored 3 goals.

And Rio Ferdinand went to Tottenham, Riquelme to Liverpool.

I just went through my winter transfer window this morning. I decided to sell Bolo Zenden ($3.5) because i didnt need him and i loaned out four of my youth players. I bought Wesley Snijder ($12.5 mil) to play on the left with Kewell as back up (i rotate every game because of fatigue).

Im thinking about selling Bellamy in the summer transfer window (even though hes leading goal scorer) and i might buy either Podolski or David Villa.

Luckily for me no one is retiring and i do not have to re-sign anybody becuase i have already done that earlier in the season.

I tried to re-sign everybody before January but they decline and after one or two more tries they don't let you offer them a new contract anymore

I'm happy with my squad at the moment, earlier today everyone from my first choice squad except my keeper were yellow in fatigue so I basically used my whole reserve squad only keeping Schafer and Downing and I drew 1-1 with Wigan with the squad, so it wasn't that bad.

For my expectation I had to sign a GK and I did, but I didn't realise he was like 30 years old so he's already going to start declining next season
