To appear in any of the standings (other than the hot list which is only four of the last five), you must have predicted at least 7 of the last 10. That is to prevent someone from doing great early on and then "retiring" comfortable with their lead (which we had someone largely do about the third year in). You must continue to be an active participant in order to appear in the standings.

It was originally just 2/3rds but after some complaints, added the second constraint so that if you did well early, you couldn't sit back and say 'catch me if you can', you had to "prove" you were worthy of the position by continuing to participate.

In Feb I decided If I thought they were going to lose I just wouldn't predict that game. It was my of not being divisive and to be a homer.

Guess I won't do that anymore.
