LA lost football Team(s) not because there were insufficient Fans, but because the City and County Board of Supervisor's kept promising new Stadiums, rather than share a old bowl Stadium in Anaheim, held plenty of peeps, but was too small. Georgia wanted a free ride, a new stadium She wouldn't have to pay for, and we were glad to see the Bitch go, not the Team....
The City of LA also fkd over Al Davis, making promises they could not keep. I for one am glad, I love the Raiders always have, but they belong in Oakland, and only Oakland. Imagine Green Bay moving, or the Giants, perhaps the Cowboys, or Dolphins....????? Those moves would never make sense, neither does moving the Ray-Derz.....
The Coliseum is one of the very worst football stadiums, that no NFL Team should have to play in.
The Fans are way to far away from the action. No Luxury Box Seats, and most importantly, only a mile north of the epicenter of South Central L.A. The amount of Fans who took a wrong turn out of that bowl, after Raiders games, and wound up in a dark city at daylight, were utterly freaked out. It's like a war zone, down there. NTM- the LAPD, and LASD kept Paddy Wagons available at all Raiders games. not due to the hard core Fans, but due to the Mexican and Black Gang Bangers, pulling knives on each other during the games........it was a sight to see, unbelievable...
