OT Fire Season 2025

Fire season has started here in Central Oregon. Reported anywhere from 15-20 acres fire just north of Redmond. Was able to watch the tankers dropping retardant and the helicopters dropping water from my backyard. Might be a long summer.

Thanks. They attacked it pretty hard and have it under control now. the bomber flew over our house three times before he dropped the retardant and two helicopters were dropping water on it along with about every brush truck they have in Central Oregon. It was at the end of the Dry canyon in Redmond. If it had made it to the Canyon that could have been an issue.
