I've been thinking about this lately
we're only about 3 months from fire season. Last year there were almost no fires because there were almost no electrical storms. The year before was one the worst on record...lots of electrical storms
if Covid is still going strong and we have a bad fire season this summer, what does that mean for the fire fighters? Now, they are mostly young and in good shape. But they also spend fire season with compromised lungs and inflammation in their breathing tissues because of smoke inhalation. Can't be avoided. And it's impossible to maintain any social distancing in fire camps and transportation to fire theaters
this might be a big issue if we have a bad fire season, but maybe I'm missing something
