looks like harris is on his way to being ROBBED. wow. look at the names ahead of him. luke ridnour, derrick rose, jameer nelson, jose calderon, joe johnson, allen iverson.

and Yi is beating out chris bosh

absolutely disgusting. this is why fans should be banned from voting. and yes, i have been voting devin harris EVERY DAY so i can complain all i want

this is hilarious. and it looks like vince won't make it either because AI is destroying him in votes.

LOL but Yi might catch Garnett

I think Luke Ridnour is getting votes from China because Yi was with the Bucks last season, and i guess the Chinese people love Luke.

lol, I hope Yi doesn't make the all star game. It's just embarrassing, at least I would be. well, if he does make it, it might not be a bad thing. it might give him some extra motivation to do better to make sure he would deserve it a few years down the line.

Wow...Yi in 3rd place? Lets hope to god he stays there, because I would be disgusted if he made the AS game because of his race. The guy isn't even remotely deserving.

I'm also appalled by the amount of votes AI is getting. He's playing like hot garbage this year and hasn't dropped 20 points in what, 9 games? He hardly deserves to be an AS this year, he'll only get there because the casual fan knows his name.

Funny one, love your sarcasm. Lets play the 6 degree of Yi.

Oh, I also voted for Yi today. I wanted to see Garnett bumped off.

no way in hell should yi namme even be among kg bosh lebron or pierce. no way should he be infront of any of them

AI is the 2pac of basketball he gets unconditional love

If Yi was black....would it still disgust you? Of course he doesn't deserve this year, unless he turns it around and pulls his average up to at least 16 ppg, 7 rpg, 45% fgp by the time the All-Star break starts.

If Yi was black, Chinese people wouldn't be able to tell him apart. All the votes would go to Ridnour.

Chinese fans are stupid.

Yes. If a player gets voted on the team because of ANY race, it's a disgrace to the game. And 16/7 on 45% shooting aren't all star numbers.

That mean you don't like Iverson either? I like Iverson too, he's small and has heart. We peeps from the hood Yo.

Oh really....that's funny....cause some certain guy from the Lakers averaged 15 ppg, 3 rebounds and shot 42% from the field....and he still made the 1998 All-Star team....but nobody was bitching about how UNFAIR it was.

*Cough*

"Hypocrites"

i agree, people who are outraged by Yi should also be outraged at AI being voted in right now as well.

both undeserving, no matter what race they are.

I think we can excuse people for being wayyy more outraged by Yi being third among forwards than Iverson being second. I mean the former is far more of a disgrace than the latter (even though AI clearly shouldn't be getting that many votes).

agreed, yi is more of an outrage.

but i feel it's hypocritical to go "oh china fans don't know what they're doing" when us american fans are doing the same thing (voting in players we like and want to see in the all star game instead of those who deserve it). either way, i think NBA fans have proven that they are undeserving of the privelage to vote all star players.

I can't say I'm too shocked to see the players who are in first.

As well as he was playing, there is little to no chance Devin was going to get voted to be a starter.

I hope Yi doesn't get voted in. He's going to get so much grief for that.

It's ridiculous that Gilbert is getting any votes. I was hoping that somehow Marbury would have cracked into that top group though, that'd be hysterical.

I agree for the most part. But I think the frustration with Chinese fans is over the fact that they're voting with a specific local motivation that completely undermines the All Star game. You don't really see that with Americans (you see it with other countries, but its nowhere near as strong).

The Iverson votes are more indicative of a problem with the entire NBA fanbase: people across all countries still stupidly buy into the AI hype.

This is pure bullshit...Devin got completely robbed, and i'm surprised Yi is so high lol

A lot of it may just be casual fans who vote for who they have heard of before, and not who is playing the best this season.

That mean you don't like Iverson either? I like Iverson too, he's small and has heart. We peeps from the hood Yo.

I've said it before. Iverson is entertaining, Yi doesn't even come close. He doesn't deserve to be in the all-star game either, but I don't have a problem with him being in it for 10-15 minutes because he'll give you some fancy dribbling and alleyoops and that's what the all-star game is for nowadays. Iverson's votes don't come 100% from Detroit fans and African Americans, so you can't compare him to Yi.

I wasn't following the NBA back then so I can't tell whether people were bitching or not or why Kobe was voted in. But Kobe didn't put up all-star numbers that year, that's for sure.

Wheres that guy who was complaining about people saying Yi would get a bunch of votes because he's Chinese saying it was racist?

People need to stop voting for Yi full stop but the results were pretty much as I expected. Lebron leading the way and KG in 2nd place. There's none of this Yi getting 200 chinese million votes and is miles ahead of Lebron and KG as a certain parrot alluded to.

WTF black unemployed people all voting for AI. Sh1t need to stop. White people all voting for Ridnour. Sh1t need to stop.

Germans all voting for Dirk... no one cares, but jews might want to look into it.

I hope Yi doesn't get voted in. He's going to get so much grief for that.

Totally agreed. It's just not worth it for the blacklash he is going to recieve for the 5 - 10 minutes of playing time he is going to receive. So people who are voting for him need to stop it.

Here is why Stern and company don't care who gets voted in. The more people who vote means the more hits the nba website gets, which means the more dollar revenue they can charge for ads. Its all about the money, always has and always will be. Welcome to capitalism our new china friends.....

The only votes that matter are the starters, and those are pretty good outside of Iverson.
