(Meredith) – An 18-year-old Florida man was arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted his neighbor and asked if he could do yard work to make amends.

Timothy Adam Walding allegedly broke into the woman’s home while she slept, put a knife to her throat and tied her hands up before the assault on Sept. 6, The Palm Beach Post reports.

The woman told deputies that Walding remained inside her home after the attack and told her she needed to put a deadbolt on her door.

She said Walding then asked her, “if he could make this up to her by doing some yard work or by fixing something around her house,” according to a sheriff’s office report.

The woman said she only continued the conversation with Walding so he wouldn’t hurt her, and then called 911 as soon as he left.

According to arrest records, Walding is being held at the Palm Beach County jail without bond on charges of sexual assault with a weapon or force and kidnapping/false imprisonment.

This is quite possibly the best and fair deal I have ever seen

This is like murdering someone and then asking their mother if you can buy them some Arby's takeout to make up for it. "Come on. Just take the meal. They have the meats".

Slightly different, but point understood.

Clearly, the dood is missing something upstairs. I will never understand someone taking something from someone, on such a level. Like, he doesn't understood what he took. I'll never understand taking something like that from someone and not comprehend the meaning of what I took. So fucked up.

I'm right there with you. I can't understand how another human could reason like this. It is beyond my comprehension.
