I've heard that northern Florida is basically the deep south and southern Florida is basically the north.

North Florida is that way. I'm in Tampa and it seems pretty normal, as does ORL. Down south is basically North Cuba.

And I agree... if there was a separate state of Northern California (say Sonoma to Placer and north) I'd seriously think about getting a bunch of property. As it is? Hell naw.

And don't forget about Chitcago. That "city" should be pushed into lake michigan to make a fish crib. At least it would be useful then and the rest of the state would be relieved from excessive debt, tyranny, corruption and taxation.

My brother in law owns a couple of marble factories and some timberland there. I think we're going down for a visit next year. My wife has been and said it was beautiful.
