I freaking love Roy and think he is one of the best SG's in the league. But, there are a few areas that he can improve on to improve his game and turn him into the true superstar we all think he can become. The most important thing that I see is defense. We all know that he has the ability as seen last year v joe johnson, but often he just plays a little passive on D. I think a large part of that is that he conserves his energy since he knows that in the 4th he will have to be THE MAN. But I think this is the most important thing for Roy to improve on. Blazers perimeter D this season was a weak point, and all of that can't just be blames on the PG's and SF's. Roy needs to take the lead here. If the Blazers get a better D PG like Miller, this will hopefully allow Roy to be a little more aggressive on the D end with his player knowing that the PG is covered.
Other areas that could be improved include distance shooting, especially running a fast break and pushing the ball more often. In general, he is one of the last down court every time regardless of if he has the ball or not. Once in set, he is freaking great.
