June 17, 2008, 12:01 pm Last week, Bill Cartwright looked like he was headed back to the Bulls where he won five championship rings, two as an assistant coach. But on Tuesday, the Nets’ big man coach was in Phoenix, interveiwing with Terry Porter, the Suns’ new head coach. Cartwright had applied for the head coach at his alma mater, the University of San Francisco, last year. The Nets have already lost Pat Sullivan to the Pistons.

Cartwright is actually a staff member that I like on this team. While I don't have high opinions (or any for that matter) on the rest of Franks entourage, I like what he's done with Boone and he always seemed to speak like he knew was knowledgeable in the half time interviews haha.
