Pretty cowardly for anyone to blame an innocent animal for the "victim"'s well-deserved wound.

Just karma that no innocent people were harmed by the idiot that left a loaded gun, obviously with the safety off, in a pickup bed.

Sadly, he vows to continue hunting. Hopefully nowhere near Beautiful Central Oregon.

The safety was on according to the article. The dog jumped onto the back of the truck, somehow dislodged the safety and fired the gun...he should have faced the gun away from him when he put it in the truck.
