It looks like revenge for the Iraq Invasion. I guess dude didn't know Cheney was really in charge. W was just a figurehead. Not, that he should be trying to assassinate anyone.

Very true. I never said these ISIS people were smart. It's called terrorism for a reason, they're looking for headlines. It's relevant though and I don't feel like we generally see a lot of information re: assination plots that are thwarted at this level.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like we get as much information on these things usually. I agree. It's interesting they waited so long. Bush hasn't been in office for a decade and a half. Guess, they thought it would be easier now that he's not president. But, George gets secret service for life. They don't fuck around. And, trying to assassinate an ex president is taken very seriously.
