QUOTE

"I'm contemplating it," the Nets coach said yesterday, when he gave his team the day off. "I haven't made a final decision, but I'll have one when I talk to the team tomorrow.

Gee whiz, Frank. Welcome to the 2007-2008 season.

He should have been around S2 Nets board. He would have alreadyknown this sense since he saw Jarkid's post.

Start TwoViolent Brothers.

Also in this:

"Nenad Krstic and Boki Nachbar showed up at the practice facility yesterday for treatment. Krstic is expected to do some full-court drills this week, but the medical staff doesn't think he's ready for contact scrimmages."

Maybe he will surprise everyone and start Krstic haha.

Krsitc should come back, Boki should, too.

And Before Krstic is full healthy, we should start Boone + Sean, and Allen and Collins should come off the bench.

I still don't get it, Our fans have already known how to save this team, but Frank must realise it finally after losing many games..

Our S2 Board should be the Brain Trust of the Nets Coaching Staff ( except the guys that support Collins ) .

Sean vs. Mikki, can't wait! please Frank, for the sake of at least entertaiment, start the two violent brothers.

Geez Boone and Sean are the only big men scoring points and grabbing rebounds yet he's only considering the possibilty of starting them.

he has no prob starting frukcing Collins and Malik but is "thinking about" starting Boone and Sean who are clearly our best bigs. God I hate him.

Frank is in trouble, I heard Collins has some dirt on him that he won't want to get out!

Turns out they actually are starting:

QUOTE (NetsDaily)

Lawrence Frank will indeed make a change in the starting lineup … two changes in fact. He told the media Monday that Josh Boone and Sean Williams will start against the Kings on Tuesday. “We’re just trying to see if these guys can bring a different dynamic,” Frank said.

This isn't that big a deal. They were both playing big minutes recently anyway.

The stubborn elf has awoken from his coma! In a related story, Lawrence has decided that electricity, airplane travel, the computer, and Tivo are good inventions. He was waiting to see how it played out, and didn't want to rush to judgement on them. GM3, It is a big deal, if they play well, and string some wins together (easy sched right now). Playing 30+ minutes instead of 15-20 can make a huge difference. I officially have hope for mankind.

I hope we get to see this for at least 5 games before he passes judgement. These cats can hopefully see 30 minutes a night from here on out.

I know. Last time Frank switched the frontcourt around, he switch it back, like, the next game. So who knows if it would've panned out.

And, actually, I don't wanna see a definite amount of minutes given to anyone. I'd say it depends on who's playing good. Such as...if it's Boone, play him the most. Sean, play him the most. Mags, Collins...play them the most.

Of course, if Malik plays any more than 10-15 minutes, I think my head would explode.

....yea and we've gone with the Allen Collins formula for what the last 2 weeks.

my only concern with Sean is possible foul trouble. If he can stay out of it he is going to deliver. I hope the lesson (2 games on the bench) was learned. As for Boone, he is going to be ok - tenfold rebounds, tenfold points than our "Curry-non-stopper"

So he'll be getting 0 points and 0 rebounds?

Momentum is the big factor.

Starting them makes us stronger, harder, better.

Whick part would be harder? LOL

For this to succeed, they must show skills, not just athleticism, and avoid the pitfalls of playing against veteran big men. Miller and Moore will get the benefit of the doubt from the refs. I expect Collins and Magloire will get a lot of minutes as well...

Sean has a lot of skills in the offensive end, if you observe him with concentration.

Should be an easy win for the nets, the kings will be without 2 of their best players.

My bold prediction is that the big 3 play their butts off tonight (1) to make sure the bottom line result from this change is a victory so Frank will go with it a while and (2) because they are legitimately overjoyed to have some semblance of athletic ability in the front court.

Imagine having a 4 or 5 who can throw down an alley oop in the first 4-5 minutes of the game to send a message and get the crowd (what there is of it) going? That hasn't happened all year. Not getting 2 quick fouls is definitely the key for the Willy-Boone combo. They'd best be ready for some shot fakes.
