Two photons entangled, in different times.
Physicists Create Quantum Link Between Photons That Don't Exist at the Same Time
http://news.sciencemag.org/2013/05/...k-between-photons-dont-exist-same-time?ref=hp
This blows my mind. Read the whole article, it is very simply written so even dummies like me can understand. I had previously asked in another thread how entangled particles could communicate over distances quicker than light could travel, and the answer was basically, nobody knows. Well, it would seem to me that if entanglement can happen outside of time, that's also the answer to my previous question. They are not necessarily communicating faster than the speed of light, they are actually circumventing time completely, making speed irrelevant.
By the way, I post these science articles often but they get very few responses (BGD threads usually get more responses) Are people not interested or do they not feel comfortable discussing these topics? Or am I not finding interesting topics? Just wondering, I would love to spur more science talk here.
