As far as UDFA, I wouldn't mind the C out of Kentucky or the PF out of Arizona.

Dont care for any of the rest

I am being serious right now -- Why the HELL would you recruit if you were Dame after the team lied to you about using the 3rd pick to get him help -- WHY -- If I were him I would tell the Blazers to pound sand and say do something for yourselves ( I would tell them to F off myself )

HOWEVER -- Knowing Dame he will prolly still go all out to try and help even if they took his trust and pissed on it cause unlike Jody and company he has class and still believes in the team.

Sanogo would be interesting. I don't think he's Faried-level, but DeJuan Blair (with ACLs)?

The team has paid him like half a billion dollars, for a player that puts up stats but hasn’t won anything for the city… cry me a river. He is 33… no one in their right mind would mortgage the future to build around a 33 years old… especially with generational talents like Scoot and Sharpe.

Dame IS a generational talent. There is no guaranty Sharpe or Scoot will be.

Lots of UDFAs have been signed by other clubs already. Obviously this needs to be done quickly. What's going on?

I guess we are supposed to refer to him as the 33 year old nobody now.

Dame recruiting? to what team?? certainly not here.

No doubt he has asked people to come, like Draymond. Nobody is coming here though.

Just a regular FA, but I wouldn't be offended if they took a run at Jaxson Hayes for a lower deal.

Would depend on bigger moves, obviously, might also depend on how we feel about Badji, AND he's a bit of a screwball, but good size, athleticism, energy, wouldn't need shots and fits what we need in the middle for Chauncey's scheme.

He's done nothing so far, so that certainly could continue, but if it worked out, he's plenty young enough to help our current dual timeline approach...

A generational talent, imho, is limited to the MJ, maybe Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Lebron, Steph of the world and maybe Zion, Webmy. Dame is a superstar - which is even more impressive because he is not a huge guy with amazing physical tools nor is he an amazing shooter like Steph is.

I would argue that on talent alone, Sharpe is probably closer to a generational talent than Dame is. The correct question is, will he be able to harness it - and how far up the hill can he push it? All Star? Super-Star or a real generational great like Kobe, for example.

Agreed. People throw around generational way too easily.

I agree with your list. Generational guys are extremely rare. They instantly turn your team into a contender. I'm not even sure if Steph is generational because really all he brings is shooting. Not much else. Every other dude on your list played really good defense.

I understand the question about Steph, but his shooting is so ridiculous - that I believe it is worth mentioning, also because he combines the ability to shoot that efficiently both as a ball handler and as a catch and shoot threat off movement. That's just something that is super rare at the rate and efficiency he does it.

This all really just depends on where Dame is at. If Dame wants to be traded now then it changes who our targets become, if he wants to be traded if big moves don't happen before free agency in that two week window that Cronin mentioned last night then again we have different targets. I don't think we can really predict much about the direction of our roster right now when only yesterday we decided to do exactly what Dame said he wasn't here for and Cronin hadn't talked to Dame about it at that point.

I agree. Steph is the best shooter of all time. Not just his range, but his insane efficiency. So yeah, he could be put on the list, but I still think everyone else played really good defense.

Two guards added so far. Why the frack is this team so allergic to height?
