Yep.
I know eveyone is going to throw tomatoes at me but, maybe Arod can at least start putting a couple of mistakes over the outfield fences?

Yikes, I'm gettin' outta here.......

The Chemist, all or nothing, to hell with batting averages, doubles, singles, its downtown or nothing...?

shocked almost to see Gardner make the inning ending catch against the wall. Half the time, he turns those into adventures, falling all over himself....

C'mon Trashcan, leave The Chemist, Gahdnah (the next Rays Capt.), Tex for Longoria, even if ya' gotta' eat all their salaries, addition by subtraction......

Arod 2 run blast -
Yanks 3-0

He mashed it.
Good to see a nice little bat flip after connecting on a no-doubter.

He just missed (timing) on the previous at bat.

No pun intended but the Yanks could use all the juice they can get..
He had on his "mean face" the moment after he hit it as if he were telling Archer- "hey sonny boy, don't try and slip a fastball down the middle AGAIN to me.
lol

So I said:
Come on Gregorius, do something, and he flied out
Come on Headley, do something, and he struck out
Come on Ackley, do something, and he struck out

Why is tanaka out after 7 and 80 pitches giving up 2 hits and pitching a shutout. Mr overmanaging girardi at it again. Bullpen should have gotten a night off tonight.

The Bullpen will be burnt out by July no doubt. I don't get what he is doing this year other then being desperate for wins.

Headley is a basket case, you can sense the trepidation in every throw he makes and he's compounded it by forgetting how to hit!
Ackley better start shitting gold nuggets...soon.

...easy to second guess the manager, we all do it from time to time...but all I care about is another game in the "W" column.

Yep, this is a Girardi special. One of the "millions" of decisions the mgr makes which affects the team down the road.
And now the idiot has to use three relievers including the closer as Yates gives up a solo HR w/2 outs in the 9th creating a save situation.

A must win down the drain for the Yanx....

Losing a series to these clowns would deflate any ability to assess, this team's heart ...

I'm always glad to see the Yankees stick it to the local team but more so sticking it up Archers butt. Saw that twit being interviewed after the Cuba game. Little butt smoocher bragged about his conversing with the current occupant of the White House going on to say that Bro Barry complimented his (Archers ) work ethic. That interview was conducted after the Rays Players complained about the club house facilities there and sitting on a plane for six hours prior to take off. What the hell did they expect down there. Nice job by Tank this evening the man has pitched his a@@ off and deserves what wins he gets.

The Yankee starting pitching has been on a solid roll. It would be nice to see the offense consistently show up.

If Sevey were to get back from the DL and pitch like he did last season the Yankees would have a good 1,2,3. I might see Nova & CC as 4/5, out Pineda in the pen until he shapes up.

Girardi is notorious for over managing & I agree, the way he's pulling starters that are doing well after only 70-80 pitches the bullpen will be burnt out by July.

Unfortunate for the kid and the Yanks.

Yanks are 2-2 so far in this 20 games/20 days stretch and now is not the time to thread water.
This particular period is their first "big" test....time to cut the bullshit and step up.

.....hold on a second, I need to put on my rose colored pinstriped glasses and grab my pom poms to finish my thought with a blind stupid comment.....okay, here goes....
As we speak they're 5.5 games out of first place and that isn't alot of games. ⏳

... the next 20 games are a bigger test than the first 47 games...got it.

...^^^
I missed this yesterday. For the kind of money they make, even a rookies minimum wage salary, I'd sit parked on an Airport Taxi-way for a week, as long as they kept the cooler running, had water, food, maybe an open bar too...ntm- they got WiFi everything these days to occupy them, decent sleeping seats, media entertainment blitz, and even pretty flight attendants to talk too...

5 games to these Yanx are more like 7-8 one week, five .5 the next. Not: neck and neck with Boston one week, then 5 out the next. So far: 2 Games over .500, and 8 games under .500. There's a reason the word phrase "over/under" is used. As long as any team is going to lose 6 and win 6, inconsistency will abound.

Right now 5 games is not a walk in the 'everyday' park, its more like a hike from the bowels of Death Valley to the Peak of Mount Whitney. Least its looked that way thus far. A lucky west coast swing vs 2 very lousy Teams who suck even more-so... wish it weren't that way, but-
'call a spade a spade'. The chemist will swing for the fences, that's what they payed him for, but, ... A cheats a cheat...nothing to glorify, regardless of every meaningless HR, lest it be a game winner, and even then nothing A-Roid does matters less a Win for the Team, .... his personal accolades are now just that, the gold hath begun to tarnish, "its better to burn out, than to fade away, my, my, hey hey"....

Edward Nygma, its you, riddle solved...
