FRIDAY AUGUST 29TH GAME THREAD YANKEES @ BLUE JAYS

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

The offense still looking like crap after three innings.

It is not the pitching.........it is definitely the hitting OR lack of.

It is no secret that these Yankees can't hit the baseball.
Opposing teams welcome Yankee fodder.

It's to the point where I cannot f'n stand Teixeira. Down to .227 and batted .203 in July and .205 currently in August.

Yankees take a 2-1 lead. Leadoff double by McCann, walk to Beltran and double for Gardner. Beltran scores the go ahead run after the Jays overthrow third base.

Need to get Tex out of the cleanup spot. He should be batting seventh.

Ellsbury....he is the kwisatz haderach

He needs to get the fuck out of here. He's the reason they're not in the playoffs.

...if he weren't so damned good defensively, I'd say bench him until he sheds his stubbornness of defiantly hitting into the shift when batting LHed...simply bunt or slap a few balls to the vacated left side of the IF and it will eventually break the shift up.
...Tex is not hitting that many HRs anyway, so if you substitute maybe 4-5 gimme singles/bunts to the left side for every 10 outs he's currently making, I guaran-damn-tee you his BA as well as the Yanx' run totals will go up exponentially.

And the fact that he's not doing this, to me shows that he's not a team player. Swallow your f'king pride & slap a few to the left side for the team.

He's an off the juice broken down shell of his former self. It's beyond hitting it the other way at this point.
