Now Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price
of camels and mortgaged the promised land!

I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the
economy, the wars, lost jobs, Savings, Social Security, retirement
funds, etc . . . I called Lifeline. Got a freakin' call center in
Pakistan . I told them I was suicidal.

They all got excited and asked if I could drive a truck....

Yep, she does. Makes about $10-12K per year writing. As to our total income of $70-72K per year, I honestly don;t know where that puts us. Lower middle class? Solid middle class? Classless???

I wonder how much money it would have been if all the stimulus and bailout checks for the unions, banks and other businesses came to us (us being US citizens), how much per person it would amount to.

I hate bosses who discuss politics or religion. Coworkers I don't mind, because there's a relative balance in power. You can disagree and although it might make things awkward for a while, generally neither person's career advancement may be in jeopardy.

With politics and religion, though, it's very easy for a superior to get in the habit of viewing an underling a "true believer" or a "heretic", and it can albeit completely unconsciously impact that underling in dramatic and subtle ways.

oooh i had the same thought, how glorious it would have been to not bail out business failures, and let them all go bankrupt.

i would have been fine with my bank of america debt being wiped out lol
