I thought I'd share a letter that was recently sent out to Blazer season ticket holders from Neil Olshey.

Blazer Letter.jpg

Lots of interesting quotes in there.

CJ McCollum has obviously exploded onto the scene and Damian Lillard is having his best season yet, forming one of the most prolific backcourts in the NBA.

Our owner Paul Allen, whose own dedication and commitment to the franchise is unwavering, has mandated that we have guys who are committed to playing and staying in Rip City.
That quote feels like a bit of a dig at LaMarcus.

Thank you for your continued support and belief in what we're all trying to accomplish here in Rip City as we build toward the ultimate goal of bringing another NBA Championship to Portland.

Yes, there will be bumps in the road, but letters like this make me feel like the Blazers are in good hands.

Olshey is a nice gm. He backs the slick talk he does a lot. He's certainly proved himself.

The Olshey/Stotts tenure has been really good, I hope they become a lasting partnership for a long time.

Olshey does seem like a big city guy. I can see him leaving for a more prominent city. I hope I'm wrong

Dame, CJ, Crabbe, Aminu, Harkless, Vonleh, Leonard, Plumlee, Davis

Wonder why Henderson wasn't included. How much do you make of that? Could those 9 be the group Olshey want's to build around? Looks solid...

He made a point of the restricted free agency status of everyone that wasn't signed for 2 or more years. Henderson doesn't fit that part of the narrative.

Also, it appears that the letter was penned before the trade deadline and he left him out because Gerald was the most likely to be traded.
NO for president!

Make the Blazers Great Again!!!
