So they got to the crescendo of their sport, and responded with hate.
I get it, Im no fan of Trump either, but Ive always felt this type of thing does little good for your cause.
MLK :
“Let no man pull you so low as to hate him.”
I understand many people dont respect Trump and thats completely fine with me, but as someone who wants a new president I think a measured approach is better than the yelling and screaming version and much more likely to garner support.
What made MLK and the civil rights movements so powerful was that they came at it from a perspective of treat us right we demand that without turning it into their own hate of those who mistreated them.
Im not at all saying shut up and take it either, because they shouldn’t, MLK also said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
I honestly believe that Trump and his crew watch this type of stuff and laugh and think we have them exactly where we want them.
