I saw a few of you were looking forward to Futurama coming back. Did any of you see the "movies" they made?

I saw all 4 of them, and I would say that the 1st one, Bender's big score, was the only one worth watching. Although into the wild green yonder (the 4th one) wasn't that bad. The middle two were kind of lame episodes.

BBS had a nice storyline (for a cartoon), and I remember catching it on TV not knowing they were making movies and this was the first one they released. It was being presented as 4 individual episodes, and I was actually kind of geeked that there were episodes I had not seen yet.

Anyways, did anyone else think that BBS was the best of the 4?

I wasn't aware. I'll look around the web for them and post the link here.

I heard that when Futurama comes back.. that it will have new voice actors.. I hope not.

Yes, it is true, Brian.

Actually, it's not true. They announced that the original cast and the studio agreed to terms.

LOL Kate's Playground.. that takes me back to being 17.

Actually, it isn't true.

Do you have a link for that, or are you just saying it because you don't want to admit you might be wrong?

I've looked around and don't see anything that proves you correct.

http://www.gotfuturama.com/ (a fan site) seems to show my links were accurate.

Isn't she the one with the hoof feet?

LOL yep.. hence the reason I said takes me back till 17.. then I found that out... It just never dawned on me that they dont show her feet in a pic.. and now I know why lol.

they weren't as good as the show certainly, but i was entertained by all 4 movies.

Yeah, I was only mildly amused by the movies. They felt sort of forced, especially the last one. I wish they had just made new episodes instead, picking up right where they left off. The last episode of the last season was quite possibly the best episode of a cartoon I've ever seen, so the movies were kind of a letdown compared to that.

All that said, I'm shitting my pants with excitement.

Yeah, I am definitely looking forward to it.
