My case is for this guy! I truly believe if he stays healthy (which I know will be tough) will win this award for the next 10 seasons. I have probably watched every game he’s played with the Spurs and he is an absolute a freak out there. He does shit that blows my mind. His court vision and basketball IQ is astonishing.

(I’ve never typed that last word before)

Yeah health is the main concern - probably second is the level of the team. I'd think they at least have to get to HCA for him to win MVP. Not sure Harper/Castle/Bryant are ready this season to contribute in those roles to where a team can win. CP3 was actually very good for them last year.

I'm thinking next year (2026-27) they have much more growth and then he will be in the running if not the flat out favorite.

Now in terms of 10 years of MVP I think the main problem is voter fatigue. We had it when Karl Malone beat Jordan, Derrick Rose over LeBron, and SGA beating the much better Jokic last year. The hands down best player often doesn't win if they already have a couple MVPs.

He ain’t gonna win MVP 10 years in a row! Get real.

Also number of games. Yes minimum is 65 but the MVP usually plays many more. Wemby has played 71 and 46 games.
