I mean most of the mainstream guys will be out and maybe replaced?

Captain America is out.
Iron Man is out.
Thor is probably out.

Phase 2 seems like it will be more weird. The Eternals? Shit may get TOO weird.

They'll eventually have a new Captain America, maybe do a new movie with the new Capt taking over the sheild, probably Bucky.

Iron Man? I don't see how you can do a non-Tony Stark Iron Man tho. Won't be the same.

X-men vs. Avengers without having Captain and Iron Man on the Avengers?

They are going to reboot the X-men and the Fantastic Four and roll it in. Maybe with that they can introduce Galactus correctly (i.e. not a cosmic cloud).

Where do you see it going?

The last decade was an amazing accomplishment by marvel. Look how much trouble DC has had keeping it together with just a few super heros. Marvels story arc and ability to keep everyone together was fantastic. I think they have built a world big enough to keep things going, maybe not on the same scale of the avengers but they still have a lot of characters to build on and develop. It would be weird to see someone else playing the big three of Capt, Iron Man and Thor though.

DC blew their wad so bad.

Soooo bad. I thought they had something good going also. How do you fuck up Superman and Batman, they are the all time greats.

Marvel on the other hand made Black Panther a huge superhero, and they or Sony has been successful with multiple spidermen.

I agree they're going to reboot the X-Men and Fantastic Four, and use Spider-Man to bridge the gap in the MCU. Black Panther, Thor (likely folding the Guardians of the Galaxy into his movies), Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Black Widow... there's plent of Marvel heroes that are just blowing away expectations for Phases 4-6.

I see Galactus as a major baddie, with the potential for a rad Silver Surfer subplot.

There's a rumor they bring back Ultron, which I don't really care to see again.

Hoping for Kang the Conquerer and a large buildup to Galactus.

They are still doing an Adam Warlock story arch.

Gotta see a real Galactus. That Fantastic 4 movie was shit. You never even saw or heard Galactus in it.

Kang is my wife's maiden name. It is very common in Korea.

Hopefully your wife never lived in boston.

No, and I think she's a little old for you. However, she looks like a hottie to this old geezer.
Them young'ens look like children or should I say grandchildren. Maybe I should say great grandchildren.

Her name was Nancy.
I have a niece with that name. However, she's never been to Boston. It's actually a very common name for a Korean-American girl.

I just watched Aquaman and holy crap was that a terrible movie. Worst superhero movie by far, no wonder DC fell apart.

I don't get the mcu hype. All their movies are the same formulaic stuff over and over again. At least the dc movies strive for ambition.

I thought Man of Steel and Batman v Superman (Ultimate Edition) were amazing. But I like the darker tone with ambition to be more than just a superhero movie. These are dramas that happen to be about super heroes.

Hopefully we'll get some fresh new takes from Marvel. Shazam and Joker look great.

Nice to see James Gunn back on Guardians of the Galaxy for the 3rd movie. That answers a big question around Phase 4 or 5.
