It appears that Whitley could be done for the season. The pain is on the inside of the elbow, that means the chance of a tear in the ulnar collateral ligament is a strong one & the possibility of Tommy John surgery.

Don't worry, if Whitley goes down our brilliant GM Brain Cashcrap will search every available dumpster in MLB for a suitable replacement. What is Brains definition of suitable. Joe G better get a buttplug, he'll probably get blamed for this!

What was it, 28 SP's Joe Torre went thru, one very bad year, in the new millenium?

Capuano and /or Nova should be able to fill Whitley's small "shoes". Lol

Nova is still a good month away & I believe Crapuano is at least still a week away. The'll have to bring someone up. Then again the team may benefit having 2 off days next week.

Boobs on a board are more useful than Crapuano, And I also hears that Nova won't be along till June.

This could result in acquiring Cole Hamel's from Philly.... Hopefully not, but I fear it will happen...

Hopefully not, Hamels I've come to think is an over priced arm problem DL SP to happen, its a matter of when not IF with Hamels, IMO....

Last thing the Yanx need, a bloated contract and a damn good at times SP, yet like Cliff Lee, I don't get a good feeling about Hamels future.......I could be wrong.....but...?
