Anyone think we might have done better or be a better team if we had keep Channing and not picked up Howard?

We'd be better off in this series if we had Fry and the Suns had Howard, but overall Howard has helped us more than Frye did last year.
I've never heard Howard been called "The Leader" of this team...No. Howard is a leader on this team. He and Camby are the only ones on the team who have been on a team that won a playoff series.

No. As much as I like Channing's personality, he was not a good fit in our system and has put himself in a better position to succeed by being in Phoenix.
Win/win for both parties.
for a little perspective on this comment and general overboard Juwan praisings (like that he was the team's MVP this season), KS was going to Univ. of Michigan when Howard was.I've never heard Howard been called "The Leader" of this team...

I totally read KS originally statement wrong, I thought he said he was our leader. For a little more perspective, "a" doesn't equal "the", and Roy stated to the media this spring that Howard has been a leader and a mentor for him.

Howard's toughness and experience helped the team deal with all the disasters.
