100% Al, the biggest offensive onslaught of the year and the kids are battling to keep the puck along the boards or driving away from the net instead of toward it. Laf and Kakko have been given every opportunity by the Rangers to achieve. Both were put right on the big team without having to do any AHL time. They have both received tremendous amounts of PP time during their brief careers and produced nothing. Laf has played 182 minutes of PP time in his career and logged 1 primary and 1 secondary assist, seems to me that he's more of an even strength threat. In the last 3 years only 4 forwards - Mika, Artemi, CK and Ryan Strome had more PP minutes than Kappo Kakko - 281 minutes/5 G/13 A so to say the coach doesn't give him PP time is a lie. As Al and anyone with hockey sense obviously pointed out, you don't break up one of the best PP units in the NHL to appease underachievers. I don't get the Panarin hate when he's 7th in the league in scoring but I guess some have already forgotten about the years Zucc would lead the anemic offense averaging well under a point per game.
