You were saying?
Yes yes. I cant help it if some teams were stupid in their scouting.

Most infuriating commercial ever.

Everything about les schlob sux . . . I don't know if it's still this way, but for lots of years schlob employees were forbidden to have any kind of facial hair just because les schlob's daughter didn't like it . . .

This was how the showtime l*kers used to beat us; pull out a 10 or 12 point lead and then just hold it for the rest of the game . . .

Les Schwab does amazing things for basketball and football in the northwest. They sponsor one of the top ranked High School tournaments in the nation. The Les Schwab bowl puts the best Washington and Oregon football players against each other. They do great things for our kids.

Must be a good tax writeoff . . .

I thought harkless had an effective game, especially defensively. He's earned some more minutes

The only thing I see wrong tonight was the turn overs good job blazers.

Would have liked to have seen Noah get more run than 19 minutes, but this was a good win. Our backcourt combined to score 57 and the outcome was never in doubt. Harkless was everywhere tonight and it's no surprise he was on the court, in our small ball lineup, to finish the game.

It's always sweet to #BeatLA!

Have you ever been to the Les Schwab tournament?? Only the best high school players in the nation play in it. Oak Hill Academy etc. It gives our top teams here the opportunity to play and beat top teams all over the nation. Les Schwab is a great company. Cut your fucking beard if you're going to work there. Or... Work elsewhere... As a referee I have to be clean shaven. Yep no beard.

I don't really have issues with Les Schwab (other than the fact they tried to take advantage of me multiple times in my youth while working on my car). And I mostly agree with your point about the things to do provide for the youth. And most of the people that work in the garages for the company seem like genuinely good people that go above and beyond.

BUT.... I believe they have a pretty serious rep about being a rather sexist company.

Les Schwab certainly does good things for the community, no argument there. And I hope it continues. But from the point of doing business with them, they are no where (no where) near the quality company they once were. Their quality of service is history and they have a very concrete history of taking advantage of younger customers and women, and they fight tooth and nail to avoid being held accountable. Ask to talk to the manager some time. Blank stares and shrugs abound. It seems every employee is a "manager". I've given them every chance and they just keep shooting themselves in the foot. The only thing I use them for these days is if I need a battery and then only because of their convenient location. Maybe some day they'll get back to being an organization worth doing business with....

I have it on very good authority that schlob himself was a major a-hole, and so was his daughter, Margaret . . . BTW, I don't work on cars (professionally), but if I did schlob's would be the last place I'd work . . .

Les Schwab, as a store, is only good for popcorn.

I'll never have them do my brakes or buy tires from them. The variety of tires is shit, and they way over charge for them AND brake jobs.

Fuck Les Schwab. Needed an alignment 20 years ago. Had a bad rim on the car. Said I could run up the road and get another one and be back in 5 minutes.

Guy told me don't worry, we have another old steel wheel lying around. I was like cool.

Get the bill after and they charged 30 bucks for an old Nova wheel. I had told them I was getting new wheels and tires and needed an alignment before.

I didn't want their ugly wheel for 30 dollars.

I don't pay people to work on my car unless it is something like that where I didn't have the equipment.

I wouldn't buy anything from that place if they sold fire extinguishers and my dick was on fire.

The day after a game I often take my first look at the game thread by reading the last page.

...You'd get more participants if you started a thread with "Les Schwab" in the title. All the people who want to argue about Les Schwab don't know that this is going on.

Let's not be the first team to let Kobe shoot 50% or make a dunk!

Success. Kobe shot 7-20. 1 layup and 6 jump shots. He hasn't achieved either goal this season.

I have no idea how or where this topic entered the game thread, but... Les Scwhab does a lot for area sports in general. I think they're the #1 OSAA sponsor, but I could be wrong about that.

I've had good and bad experiences with them as a shop. Some of their techs forget important things, but I also had them service a leaky tire at no charge on a newly purchased used car because I've bought from them in the past. Their offer, not my request. Their prices are on the high side and their waits seem much longer than it used to be (business is good, I guess), but they really do stand behind their product even if they don't "come running" anymore. Either you like their prices and service package or you don't, in which case you're free to go elsewhere.

Read somewhere that Les Schwab had something to do with 9/11.
