I don’t mind Brodzinski. He is useful. The other two chuckleheads are completely useless. I have no hope with this coach or Drury developing top prospects at this point. It’s rinse and repeat.

I don't think the issue is playing Raddysh or Sheary, I think both are reasonable NHL bottom 6 players. The issue is playing Raddysh AND Sheary AND Brod all in the same lineup. As kreider wrote, when you are playing ALL 3 of those guys, you are in trouble. For my money, I think Raddysh and Sheary are both better than Brod, and if I had to play 2 in the bottom 6, I would play those guys before Brod.

It is mind-blowing to me why Perreault was sent down. I don't understand the logic and mindset at all. Think about it, Sullivan RIGHTLY said he gives the team more depth and balance, the team then went 3-0 with him in the lineup, and you send him down FOR WHAT, to play Brod? It makes absolutely zero sense.

Bring Perreault back up, put him back with Miller and Zibanejad, play Cuylle on the 3rd line to give the team depth and balance, and stop the nonsense.

After Cuylle and Laba anchoring the 3rd line, the other 4 spots should be Carrick and Edstrom for sure, and then I am fine if they played Raddysh and Sheary. I think they both slot in reasonably well as 9th to 12th forwards.

This organization will always be a joke. Panarin takes a stupid penalty and Vegas scores. Did they hold him accountable? Nah, back on the ice the next shift lazily floating around and doing nothing. Imagine if one of the younger top prospects take that penalty. They would be sent down to AHL on the next bus.

Im still interested but way less than in years past. There are a number of reasons for it but I would have to say the biggest reason for me is a totally unexciting roster. Also very low expectations. Also having a family and getting older.

Let's look at the past 5 games:

Perreault up adding depth and balance, which the coach called out, Rangers go 3-0. Then for some inexplicable reason, they send Perreault down and go 0-2 with 3 total goals since. Very interesting.

Anything can happen in one random game, but big picture overall, you are NOT winning many hockey games with a 3rd line of Brod/Laba/Sheary, that's a pathetic and weak 3rd line. Enough said.

Tired of this organization doing the same stupid shit year after year with the forwards. Signing reject role playing vets. Taking up roster spots for young, forward prospects. Screwing kids over. There is little to no youth on the team. No speed. No energy. Every fn coach they bring in here does the same shit. Play dumbasses like Sheary and Raddysh over top prospects. Drury absolutely needs to be shown the door. He has no plan.

Drury hasn't had a plan since he was hired, he's been in over his head since day one, that's very clear.

You also have to wonder if there is organizational pressure to play vets/go for broke at all costs. The key words are every coach; it has been multiple coaches with the same approach. So, either you say ALL these coaches the Rangers have had play old vet whatever guys like Sheary, Brod, Raddysh etc., over kids OR since it is multiple coaches with the same approach, it is the organization (Drury and Dolan) mandating that approach.

Makes you wonder when it is coach after coach, the coaches change and the approach does not.

I saw this coming last year when I predicted the Rangers would struggle. These other teams that have sucked for 5 to 7 years are now having top picks light it up. Especially young centers. The Rangers have not had a true rebuild since before the Hank days. What they did before was a quick, 2 year fix. It won't work this time. The Rangers are going to have to suck for 4 to 7 years. Hope Shesterkin still has it at that point or you have another goalie in the wings. Ticket prices need to be drastically reduced as the product will suck for some time. Rangers fans need to be smart enough to not go to the games if the prices aren't lowered a lot. That should actually start to happen now to send the message.

Igor gave up one softy but made a few spectacular saves, Mika finally hustles and ends up offside on the disallowed goal but the Rangers were dominated last night. Still very early to give up but I agree this team's entertainment level is comparable to the Renney years.. The effort level isn't there, the video Dump posted can be made about any of the top team players. I don't have as much of a problem with Drury, I think he's been better than Gorton or Sather. I've heard former players knocking Drury for some of his tactics to move dead weight, my biggest criticism of Drury was who he moved, should have kept Goodrow and flushed Krappo. The youth talent void is 100% on Gorton and his awful drafting.
