This might have been a loss anyway, but this sets up to be a "schedule loss" if I've ever seen one.

I love your work, @Darkwebs.

What ? Stop man, this is the kings. Respect Portland.

Hope you're right my friend! Back-to-back against a younger, quicker team, when you're not playing with a full roster; games like that scare me!

This might have been a loss anyway, but this sets up to be a "schedule loss" if I've ever seen one.
How is this a schedule loss? 3 days of rest before the Clippers game, we didnt play anyone over 30 minutes, and we come home to play a banged up Kings team.

The team starting this group is younger?
Cory Joseph, 28
Buddy Hield, 26
Harrison Barnes, 27
Nemanja Bjelica, 31
Dwayne Dedmon, 30

Well, they are objectively slightly younger than a team starting:
Damian Lillard, 29
CJ McCollum, 28
Rodney Hood, 27
Carmelo Anthony, 35
Hassan Whiteside, 30

And even moreso if you accurately list Richaun Holmes, 26, as their starting center instead of Dedmon.

But yes, you're correct that since their three youngest players (Bagley/Fox/Giles) are all not playing right now, they're not really all that young of a team.

Eh, 26 and up isnt young by NBA standards.

Damn I really want to see Anfernee Simons do something. This guy has been completely useless for weeks now. At this point he’s getting that that full Vonleh treatment these days with the "Sure, his numbers are bad, but did you see that one nice finish? You can just imagine what he’ll be like in two years considering he’s only 19. One of my few untouchables alongside Dame/CJ."

His TS% is now lower than CJs when CJ obviously has waaay higher of a usage rate and as everybody knows CJ barley even goes to the line. I don’t know about this kid anymore I would def trade him if a team asks for him and the trade is more of a win now

1.) If you cant realize how and why Simons and McCollum are held to different standards, I do t know what to tell you.
2.) Simons plays more within the flow of the offense, which is one of the biggest critiques of CJ.
3.) Simons seems to give more effort defensively.

Who says imagine what he'll be like in two years (edit) ? He could shoot better starting with tonight's game.

Are you serious? A lot of ppl anoint this kid like he’s the next franchise star and untouchable in any trades

Yep, all over the place. I was just listening to Dan Marang last night on the radio pregame saying that the top 3 core pieces (in order) for the future right now are Dame, Simons, and Nurk, with CJ and Collins on the next tier below them. Now I have no idea what kind of inside sources he has (or doesn't have), but he sure seemed certain of his impression of management's view on the roster.

You put Whiteside's name as Enes Kanter... everything else looks awesome, thanks for always doing these.

I think the team will play with a chip on the shoulder tonight after last night's blowout. I look for us to blowout the Kings. Dame is do for a great shooting night.

We need the fans to make noise before the game starts, not with 5 min left in the 4th. Our home court this year has not been shit.

bout time to have a couple of great games. My problem with Dame has always been that, even though he is undeniable a Superstar in the nba, sometimes he has those stretches where he looks just invisible and not shooting the ball and then he is nowhere to be found. The window is wiiiiide open for him to make starter at the All Star game and 1st team All Nba. So Dame, about time to play like a real Superstar, and not like a borderline All Star
