The Sharks have given up more goals than any other team in the NHL by a wide margin so 7 SOG 1st period? Even though they were outworked in the 3rd more golden opportunities were shot wide. Nothing Igor could have done on either regulation goal but there were 2 picks on the OT goal uncalled naturally. Starting to see that bewildered look on Lav's face too often every time their opponent turns up the forechecking heat.

Mika and Lafreniere both have only one goal in the month of January. The whole offense is Panarin and Trocheck. It’s no surprise they’re nothing but inconsistent for weeks now.

Lafreniere doesn't play the PP other than mop up time. His finishing would be much better if he got first PP time from day one. Zibanejad has no excuse. Both he and Kreider have been useless at even strength forever. Just 2 more examples of why you don't hand out NMC's to non, franchise, young players.
