• Friday’s game marks the second of three regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and the Mavericks during the 2017-18 season.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers shot 52.3% from the field and 50.0% from the three-point line while tying their season high with 18 three-pointers in a 117-108 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Damian Lillard led Portland with 31 points and nine assists while Wesley Matthews paced Dallas with 23 points.

• Damian Lillard made his first nine shots (7-7 3-PT) against the Mavericks on Jan. 20. In his last three visits to Dallas, Lillard has averaged 32.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists. He has scored 20-plus points in seven of his last eight games against Dallas.

• CJ McCollum scored 26 points (11-23 FG, 2-6 3-PT, 2-2 FT) to go with four rebounds and two assists against Dallas on Jan. 20. McCollum has averaged 28.7 points while shooting 54.7% from the field in his last three games against the Mavericks.

Oh joy, I guess that means we get another look at the Nurk/Aminu/Shabazz/C.J./Dame starting line up. Why not, it worked so well last time Turner was out.

We used that against a team that was also starting three guards. Since Dallas is more traditional I’m guessing Harkless or Pat will get the start.
