When I'm sad about Scoot I watch this....

....I've been watching this quite a bit more lately.

This is the darkest timeline for Scoot's career so far, but he still gives me fleeting reasons to think there's still light at the end of this very long, dark tunnel.

a win and 85 of the 122 points on the backs of 3 players: a guard who will be 36 when next season starts; a SF who will turn 33 during next season; and a big who may not even be a Blazer next season. Not exactly showcasing upside in the "winning time now" season.

Blazers seems institutionally incapable of abandoning their fence-straddling and choosing between their dual-track obsession.

Dundon needs to bring a big broom on day 1 and clean house in a major way
absolutely!!! Bring on the broom!!!

Yeah, I still disagree with the obsession with the two-timeliness. It's not a big deal to me. I actually like it.

Sure, last night was on the backs of 3 older players, but was it when Shae and Deni were actually playing? Plus, DC only played 12 minutes. We need Camara out there despite his inconsistent 3 pt shot.

I hope Williams comes back on a cheap contract.
I am fine either way about Grant and Jrue. I have no problem with their play, just their contracts.

While it seemed like DC didn't go out of his way to swing his arms, the elbow to chin shot connected like it was MMA so I understand especially since he was the road player. It wasn't a dirty play, it just looked bad and the League is very image conscious.

STOMP
I get it and see the NBA’s side.

At the same time I agree that it didn’t feel like it was dirty and he didn’t follow through either. He had two hands on the ball at all times so he wasn’t flailing his elbow. To me that’s a classic flagrant 1.
