It's pretty easy to see and pick out what's wrong with them when they are losing. Bad defense, points in the paint ratio, turnovers, bad decision making, and everything else. All these things have been a problem for Portland even when they were winning. The only thing that has changed is their 3 point FG%. They were able to shoot their way out of their mistakes. Take that away and everything gets exposed.

I don't really think it matters where or who you play in the playoffs. Either your a legit contender, or you try to have a bit of fun and go home. If you're not a legit contender, it doesn't matter where you get bounced, if you are a legit contender, it doesn't matter who or where you play.

Batum has at least 1 HIDEOUS turnover per game where it's WTF were you thinking with that pass. Lillard has been careless with the ball lately too. Batum and Lillard combined for 11 of 16 turnovers tonight. Not good when your best playmakers are not taking care of the ball.

He's averaging over 4 TOs per game in January. I've been frustrated with him to, because they are "WTF" are you doing type of passes.

Agreed. Seeding is ultimately not that important. Still, games like this fucking suck, and leaves a horrible taste in the mouth.

The Blazers had 7 more fouls and the clippers had 31 free throw attempts and the Blazers had 22 attempts. The Blazers had 16 turnovers and the Clippers had 8.

The Blazers made some ridiculous shots tonight, the McCollum 6 point play was awesome! They just really folded, once again, in the final minutes of the game. Some really silly shots. And Batum....he really needs to cut back on those turnovers. The turnover differential is probably what cost us the game.

But man, everyone shot well, the bench contributed big, we probably would have blown most teams out with this effort. But alas...we're cursed with another close loss.

Good to see a sensible comment here, well said but I'd get the curse out of it personally...Blazer don't need that jinx
