EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) - Dwight Howard and theOrlando Magic want to remain kings of the road.
Howard and the Magic aim to extend their franchise road-winningstreak to six games when they visit the New Jersey Nets onFriday.
Howard matched his career-high with 35 points and pulled down 16rebounds in a 117-116 overtime win over LeBron James and theCleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Orlando is the only team aside from the unbeaten Boston Celticsthat has yet to lose on the road.
Howard has enjoyed plenty of success against the Nets, who donot have an answer for him inside.
The first overall pick of the 2004 draft, who is averaging 21.9points and 16.9 boards, scored 25 points to go with 12 reboundsin a loss here on February 10. In the most recent meeting lastMarch he scored just 10 points, but pulled down 16 rebounds in a90-82 home win.
The Magic will need him to continue his stellar play if they aregoing to snap a four-game skid here.
That may be easier to accomplish since the Nets have lost threestraight and are missing Vince Carter, who is out indefinitelywith a sprained ankle. On Wednesday New Jersey shot aseason-low 33 percent in a 91-69 loss to Boston.
The teams spilt the four meetings a season ago.
